Gone Country

Yesterday was soooooo much fun. I went to the Alan Jackson concert with Raj, Dave, Laurie, Nick, Julie, and Kuck. We got to DTE around 4 and started tailgating. We grilled burgers, hotdogs, ate chips, and drank out of red cups ;-) It was so fricken hot out there that I didnt even have to pee cuz i was sweating it all out. I eventually did on our way into the concert around 730. We didnt watch the Wright brothers cuz they were on at 7, but we did see Sara Evans. She was actually really good. Alan Jackson didnt come out till 9. O the people in front of us were really cool. We were chatting it up with them the whole concert. The best was when one of the ladys gave Nick a cigarette, from then on we agreed to track down the beer guy for them and they searched for the lemonade guy for us. When Alan Jackson came out it was all over. He was just plain awesome. The first song he played was Gone Country. In case u missed the memo last night being screamed down Livernois...ive gone country and im proud of it :-D I was singing and dancing througout the concert, and no I wasnt drunk, not even buzzed, just having a good time. And naturally, he came back out for an encore and played Mercury. O that was so much fun, Im no longer a country virgin. After the concert got out around 1030, Dave took us back to Rajs house, and then me and Raj went to Taco Bell. That was exactly what I needed, I had the crunchwrap and damn they are sooooooo good. After that, I dropped him off at home and then I went home. I ended up going straight to bed becaue I was exhausted from all the screaming and tailgating. I think more nights should be like last night, they are so much fun. Now I cant wait to go to another country concert.
